Our camp has hosted around 130 kids per week every summer offering indoor and outdoor recreational activities which include soccer, volleyball, board games, arts and crafts, water activities, movies, music and organized games for young people ages 6 to 13. Thanks to the City of Orange, which provides breakfast and lunch, and thanks to parishioners and Salesian cooperators who provide snacks and financial support, we are able to keep very low weekly fees. We are not here to make money, but to offer a safe and fun environment for our young people. Our counselors and volunteers are trained in the Salesian Preventive System to offer a safe and fun environment for all. Most of our volunteers are young teenagers who enjoy helping younger kids to have as much fun as they had it when they were campers themselves in the past. Faith is an essential component of our summer camp. We have mass at the end of the week, opportunity for confessions, moments of prayer and the traditional Salesian Good Morning. Don Bosco Camp in the Valley is all about getting closer to God in a safe and fun environment!
